What Makes Us Different from Other Stations?
What truly sets La Campesina apart from other stations is our history and the values we stand for. We were founded by labor and civil rights leader César Chávez, a man whose vision and commitment to social justice shaped our mission from the very beginning.
Our mission is clear: to serve and support the Latino community. Unlike major commercial radio networks, all the revenue we generate is directly reinvested into community services. These include education programs, access to affordable housing, and many other initiatives designed to improve the quality of life for our people. This creates a much deeper relationship with our audience, one built upon trust and understanding. They trust us, and that trust extends to our sponsors.
At La Campesina, we don’t just broadcast radio content; we build a bridge toward a more equitable future full of opportunities for the Latino community. That is our essence, and that is what makes us unique.
